Clifft Bowie
Forged for the relentless, the Clifft Bowie embodies the rugged heritage of American bowie knives while integrating modern craftsmanship and materials. Inspired by Joseph Clifft, a 19th-century bladesmith whose work helped define the early bowie knife style, this knife pays homage to the historical roots of an iconic blade pattern.
Crafted from 125Cr1, a high-carbon steel known for its fine grain structure and excellent edge retention, the Clifft Bowie delivers uncompromising performance in a field-ready package. Available in two blade styles—the classic clip point for a timeless bowie profile and the harpoon point for enhanced tip strength and forward-weighted cutting—the Clifft is ready for anything from heavy camp work to detailed slicing.
At 13 inches overall with a 7-inch blade that’s a full ¼-inch thick, the Clifft is built to take a beating. The hidden tang construction ensures strength and balance, with the handle permanently bedded for a rock-solid feel. Choose from Black G10 or Natural Canvas Micarta handle scales, both accented with a brass guard and pin for a refined, traditional finish.
Each Clifft Bowie includes a premium leather sheath made by Chattanooga Leather Works, tailored specifically for the knife. The sheath is ambidextrous, configurable for right or left-hand carry, with a retention strap that can be positioned on either side of the blade for fast, secure access.
Whether you're taking it into the backcountry or adding it to your collection, the Clifft Bowie stands as a tribute to time-honored craftsmanship, historical lineage, and field-ready performance.
