The Utility Blade Karambit (UBK) combines the secure, controlled grip of a fixed-blade karambit with the convenience of replaceable utility blades. Designed for everyday carry, plate carriers, toolboxes, and general utility use, the UBK lets you replace a dull or damaged edge in seconds using the wrench stored directly in the handle.
Each UBK ships as a complete carry system with a sheath, belt clip, and blade-change wrench.
The UBK is available with multiple scale, ring, and material configurations. The Large Ring has a 1.1" inside diameter, while the Medium Ring has a 1.0" inside diameter. A block-off plate is also available for users who prefer the UBK without a finger ring.
Bronze and brass versions will naturally develop a patina with use. Bronze begins with a darker brown tone, while brass has a warmer copper-gold appearance. Scales are photographed lightly oiled; color and texture will change naturally with handling and use.
Because of the large number of available configurations, UBKs are assembled to order. Please allow approximately 7–10 business days for shipping.
International orders are shipped without a utility blade installed.
Replaceable Utility Blade System
The UBK accepts all standard utility knife blades, so a sharp edge is always a quick change away. A standard utility style blade uses a straight edge and razor-sharp stainless steel, and replacements are inexpensive and easy to find. Short blade length keeps the cutting edge compact and controllable. The magnetically retained wrench in the handle lets you change blades or disassemble the knife without a separate tool.
Ring and Handle Options
The karambit finger ring provides retention and control in a forward or reverse grip. Choose the Large Ring with a 1.1-inch inside diameter or the Medium Ring at 1 inch to match your finger and glove size. A block off plate replaces the finger hole for a ringless profile. Handle options include Bronze and Brass, which develop a patina over time, along with a Carbon Fiber scale option.
Sheath and Carry Options
The UBK ships with a custom ambidextrous Kydex sheath. A centerline-mounted Discreet Carry Concepts clip supports fast deployment and pocket or belt carry. The sheath also mounts to most MOLLE and belt attachment systems through its existing grommet holes, giving you carry options on a plate carrier, belt, or pack.
