Hiker Scales - Holdfast Texture

Our Holdfast Texture scales are the most aggressive handle scales we’ve developed for the Hiker line. They keep the familiar contoured profile of our standard Hiker scales, but add a more pronounced, high-traction surface for a locked-in feel when grip matters.

These are built as direct-fit replacement scales for the Dauntless Hiker line and are available first in two acrylic options: Smoked Bronze Acrylic and Black Acrylic.

Description

The Hiker has always been designed as a compact, capable fixed blade that can be carried hard and used often. These Holdfast scales push that same idea further, giving the handle more purchase without turning it into a blocky or uncomfortable shape.

The contour remains close to our standard Hiker scales, so the knife still feels familiar in hand. The difference is the surface. The Ridgeback Texture gives the handle a more aggressive tactile bite, making it easier to index, control, and retain under hard use.

Smoked Bronze Acrylic gives the knife a dark, translucent bronze look with a premium, industrial character. Black Acrylic keeps things simple, clean, and purpose-driven.

Material Options

Smoked Bronze Acrylic

A dark translucent bronze acrylic with a refined industrial look. It has more depth and character than a flat solid color, giving the Hiker a distinctive appearance without making it flashy.

Black Acrylic

Clean, simple, and utilitarian. Black Acrylic keeps the focus on the knife’s form and function while adding the same aggressive Ridgeback grip pattern.
