The Matt Helm Work Knife V1 is a fixed blade EDC knife built around a wharncliffe blade. Based on Matt Helm's Work Knife design, it carries his attention to detail and usability in an accessible package. With a 7.4-inch overall length and 3.3-inch cutting edge, this compact fixed blade handles daily tasks, food prep, and hard use without the moving parts of a folding knife.
Steel Options
The Work Knife V1 is available in CPM 3V, Magnacut, or 80CrV2 steel. CPM 3V delivers exceptional toughness for hard use and is heat treated to 60 HRC. Magnacut is a premium stainless steel that offers corrosion resistance and edge retention at 63 HRC. 80CrV2 is a high carbon steel known for toughness and easy sharpening, heat treated to 60 HRC.
Blade finishes include tumbled, nitride, PVD, and DLC options. These finishes provide different appearances while helping protect the blade from wear and corrosion.
Sheath & Carry Options
Every Work Knife V1 pairs with a precision-formed kydex sheath for secure carry and quick access. Select from standard, taco-style sheath, or deep carry configurations. Attachment options include belt clips, pocket clips, and belt loop hardware for pocket carry or belt carry.
A handcrafted leather sheath is also available for traditional belt carry. Replacement scales let you customize the grip on your fixed blade.
