Dauntless scales are contoured for a comfortable grip and machined to line up with the tang holes and pin holes on the matching model.
Scale Materials
Dauntless knife handle scales come in durable materials and finishes selected for real knife use. A Micarta handle offers a warm, textured feel that grips well in wet conditions. G10 delivers a hard, dimensionally stable surface built for heavy use. Each scale is machined from raw material stock and finished in-house, so the set you receive matches the fit and quality of our production knives.
What's Included
Every set of knife handle scales ships with stainless steel mounting hardware and installs in minutes. The scales seat against the tang, and the included pins and screws pass through the pin holes to lock the handle in place. No adhesive or shop tools are required. The knife blade is not included.

What are knife handle scales?
Knife handle scales are the two contoured panels that mount to each side of a knife tang to form the grip. A set of custom knife handles lets you rebuild or restyle a knife without buying a new one.
Are these scales ready to install?
Yes. Each scale set is CNC-machined to final shape and ships with the metal hardware needed to mount it. The scales align with the existing tang holes, so installation takes only a screwdriver.
Do these scales fit any knife?
No. Each handle scale set is machined for one specific Dauntless model. Dogbone Scales fit the Dogbone, Work Knife Scales fit the Work Knife Series, and so on. These are designed for full-tang fixed blades, not folders.
What materials are available?
Dauntless offers Micarta and G10 in a range of colors and finishes. A Micarta handle gives a textured, grippy feel, while G10 offers a harder surface for heavy use. Both hold up to hard use and moisture.
Do I need epoxy or special tools to install them?
No. Unlike a scratch-built handle that requires pouring epoxy resin into a silicone mold, shaping the profile with a needle file, or fitting a stick tang, these scales arrive finished. Each set installs with the included stainless steel pins and screws, with no resin or adhesive needed.
Will new scales improve my grip?
Yes. Fresh scales restore a secure, comfortable grip and let you change the texture or color of your knife. Swapping in a new handle is the fastest way to refresh a worn or slick grip.
